Letia O. Bailey, L.C.S.W., a licensed clinical social worker, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at the Tulane University School of Medicine. She is a senior clinician and core team member with the Tulane Infant Team, a multi-disciplinary, community-based intervention program for abused and neglected infants and toddlers in the New Orleans area.  Also, Letia is the co-director of the Tulane Parenting Education Program (T-PEP), a program providing relationship assessment and parenting intervention to families involved with child protective services and clinical consultation to Family Resource Centers statewide. Letia is involved in didactic instruction within the department and is the course director for play therapy. Letia is a graduate of the Irving B. Harris Fellowship Program at LSUHSC Harris Center for Infant Mental Health. Her clinical interests include infant mental health, child abuse and neglect, and the effects of maltreatment on young children.
